June 5, 1957 – January 1, 2021
Harry Reed Hines, age 63, of Buchanan, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021. He was born on June 5, 1957 in Rome to the late Robert Craig Hines and the late Mary Elizabeth Marion Hines.
Harry was a 1975 graduate of East Rome High School. After completing high school, he owned and operated Coosa Valley Waterproofing. He then worked for Polk County Sheriff's Office as a Lieutenant from 2001 until 2006. Harry later joined Haralson County Sheriff's Office as a Sergeant working from 2006 until 2014, and most recently worked at Tanner Medical Center- Higgins as Manager of Environmental Services.
Survivors include his wife Lee Anna Hines of Buchanan; daughters and sons-in-law, Misty Anne Hines King (Kenny) of Carlock, IL and Jessica Williams (Clint); sons and daughters-in-law, Andrew Hines (Stacy) of Bloomington, IL, Luke Price (Amanda) and Tyler Price; three brothers and their spouses, Craig Hines (Grace) of Atlanta, William "Bill" Hines (Cathy) of Carmel, CA and Paul Hines of Cedartown; a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Bremen First Baptist Church with Reverend Alton Stamey officiating and Bill Hines giving the eulogy.
