Mr. Harold "Wesley" Richards went Home to be with the Lord on May 29, 2016.  Wesley was a very loving Husband, Father, Brother and Friend.  He was born on June 19, 1956 in Valdosta, Georgia to the late N.L. Richards and the late Mary Jump.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer Richards.

Wesley served in the Air Force for six years.  He was a devoted Christian and loved the Lord and expected his life to be celebrated as he is now at Home with his Lord.  Wesley always took life one day at a time and looked forward to going Home.  He will be dearly missed but one day we will be joined together for forever reunion.

Wesley is survived by his wife, Hattie Richards, daughter, Karlee; three sisters, Gayle Denney of Carrollton, GA, Maxine and Keith Thompson of Bremen, GA and Laura and Eddie Stroup of Cedartown, GA; as well as so many children he called his own.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Minister Malcomb Peppers officiating.  Music will be rendered by God's Grace and Jessica Mark.  Interment will follow in Valley View Baptist Church Cemetery with Minister Charles Benefield officiating at the graveside.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: James Kidd, Kevin McGowan, Gary Mark, Shaun Lankford, Adam Thompson, Russell Stroup and Timmy Kidd.

Military honors will be provided by the Haralson County Veterans Association.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
