Ms. Gloria Jean Norris Shields, age 51, of Buchanan passed away Monday, May 25, 2015.  Ms. Shields was born in Atlanta, Georgia on May 28, 1963.  She was the daughter of the late Gene Norris, Sr. and Joyce Johnson Norris.

Survivors include her mother, Joyce Johnson Norris of Temple; special friend and companion, Donnie Garner of Buchanan; one sister, Debbie Jackson of Bremen; one brother, Gene Norris, Jr. of Temple; one niece, Alexis Dawn Norris of Carrollton; and a number of other relatives.

The family will conduct a memorial service Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. (AL Time) at Outreach Tabernacle with Rev. Rouzelle Sanders officiating.
