Ms. Gloria Jean Bates, age 58, of Bremen passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015.  Ms. Bates was born in DeKalb County, Georgia on March 17, 1957.  She was the daughter of the late James Ledbetter and the late Mamie Lee Heath Ledbetter.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Kirsty and Mark Bellew of Temple and Kayla Bates and Joseph Rush of Bremen; one brother, Marvin Ledbetter; three grandchildren, Christopher J. Madden, Jadelyn Bellew and Sophia Rush; and a number of other relatives.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
