Glenys Eileen Salsburg Carver, age 73 of Buchanan, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2023. She was born on June 13, 1950, to the late Irvin Salsburg and the late Hazel Box Salsburg. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Carver.

Glenys worked in insurance for many years, but she really enjoyed her quiet home life with her family.  She spent many happy times with her dear friends known as the "church ladies."  Glenys was a member of Corinth Baptist Church..

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Megan and Tyler Sanders of Tallapoosa and Sabrina and Michael Henderson of Tallapoosa; six grandchildren, Carver Henderson, Bradley Sanders, Jonah and Avery Sanders, Kate Henderson, Zackary Sanders and Sydne Henderson; one great grandchild on the way, Kinnley Ray Sanders, and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Barry Taylor officiating.. The family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the service hour.

Following the funeral Glenys will be cremated.
