Mr. Thomas Glenn Stephens, Sr., age 77, of Bremen, GA, passed away on November 5, 2014. He was born on September 17, 1937 in Cypert, AK to the late Hollis and Lena Bass Stephens.

Mr. Stephens served in the United States Army. He came to Tallapoosa, GA in 1979 as General Manager of the Associated Rubber Company. He became president in 1991 and retired in 2006. He was past-president of the Tallapoosa Lion's Club and the Southeastern Rubber Group. He also served as regional secretary for the Tallapoosa Service Council for many years. His hobbies were fishing, his grandchildren, stained glass work, and traveling.

He is survived by his wife , Martha Ann Griffin Stephens of Bremen; daughters and sons-in-law, Leslie and Gary Colvard of Rainsville, AL and Laurel and Frank Lyons of Bremen; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Glenn, Jr. and Michelle Stephens of Woodstock, GA; sister, Patty Sue Ishmael of West Helena, AK; and grandchildren, Trey Stephens, Lindsey Stephens, Christopher Colvard, Matthew Lyons, Joseph Lyons, Cory Colvard, Kyle Colvard, Mitch Lyons, and Mark Lyons.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 4:00 PM from Hollywood Cemetery with Rev. Sandy Fox officiating. Bagpipe music will be provided by Mr. Joshua Beaton.

The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Home on Sunday, November 9, 2014, from 3:00 until 4:00 PM.
