Mr. Glenn Eugene Green, age 74 of Temple, Georgia, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025.  Born on November 1, 1950, in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois, he was a wonderful son and only child of the late Mr. & Mrs. Eugene Cline Green.

As a teenager, Glenn worked as a lifeguard and in a pizza restaurant.  He later enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served his country as a Navy Seal.  After completing his tour of duty in the Navy, Glenn worked for a while in a bank and for the railroad.  In his later years, he became a long haul truck driver where he traveled all over the United States and Canada.   Glenn loved mathematics and history and held two degrees in both subjects.  Watching football, reading and spending time with family were his favorite activities.  Glenn also served in several positions in his church.

Glenn is survived by the mother of his children; his children and grandchildren; 3 half-sisters, and a cousin.  Also surviving is his large adopted family that loved him very much.

In keeping with Glenn's wishes, he was cremated.

Cremation services were entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
