Mrs. Glenda Carole Ashmore Perkins, age 71, of Mount Zion passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015.  Mrs. Perkins was born in Panama City, Florida on October 18, 1944.  She was the daughter of the late Robert Venerable Ashmore and the late Fannie Harriett Musick Ashmore.  Mrs. Perkins was a homemaker.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Robert Perkins, III; one daughter, Caroline Golden Boaright; and one sister LaRue Gibson.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Delton Tilley of Mount Zion; one sister, Monzua Reneau of Mount Zion; one brother, Clinton Doyle of Akron, OH; four grandchildren, Lexi Ackles, C.J. Ackles, Jordan Ackles and Lauren Quick; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Anthony Puckett officiating.  Mrs. Perkins remains will be cremated following the funeral service.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
