Obituary

Mrs. Gladys Brazeal Bell, age 88, of 448 McBrayer Rd., Buchanan passed away Monday, July 2, 2007. Mrs. Bell was born in Heard County on February 25, 1919. She was the daughter of the late John Brazeal and the late Odessa Lancaster Bell. Mrs. Bell was a retired mill worker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Bell. Survivors include one daughter, Doris Holloway of Buchanan; three sons, Amon E. Bell of Carrollton, Wayne H. Bell of Cedartown and Steve R. Bell of West Point; one sister, Jean Adcock of Roanoke, AL; one brother, Jack Brazeal of Franklin; twelve grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. from the Buchanan United Methodist Church with Rev. Anthony Puckett and Danny Hutcheson officiating. Music will be rendered by Harold McWhorter. Interment will follow in the Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Heard County with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Wayne Breeden, Shawn Smith, Terry Bell, Dave Holloway, Danny Holloway and Allen Bell. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
