Gertrude Grace Walden Clay, age 73 of Bremen, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. She was born on April 25, 1948 to the late Dr. Henry Eli Walden, Jr. and the late Winona Ruth Bailey Walden.  In addition to her parents, Trudy is preceded in death by siblings, Henry Walden, Martha Humphrey, and Archie Walden.

Trudy devoted her life to telling others about her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was bold in her pursuit of Jesus and wanted everyone she met to know that Jesus loved them. She enjoyed talking to everyone, walking and being with her family.

Survivors include, two daughters and son-in-law, Michelle (Bobby) Dees of Alabama and Vanessa McElwee of Bremen; eleven grandchildren, Melody Hiett of Atlanta, Moretta Hiett of Atlanta, Lauren King and Kyle of Bremen, Bryce McElwee of Bremen, Kobe McElwee of Bremen, Cason McElwee of Bremen, Delaine Cain of Bremen, Jace Bennett of Bremen, Katy Watson, Buchanan, Susy Bennett of Buchanan and Eric Bennet of Buchanan; three great grandchildren, Bella Watson, Mary Watson, Vincent Bennet and several other relatives and friends.

The family will host a celebration of life for Ms. Trudy Clay at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Holy Ground Baptist Church in Roopville, GA.

In keeping with Trudy's wishes she will be cremated.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
