Mr. Gerald Jeffrey(Jeff) Kirk, age 48, of Buchanan passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018.  Jeff was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 29, 1969.  He is preceded in death by his infant sister Melinda Kirk.

Survivors include his; parents Gerald and Lillie Kirk of Buchanan; one sister and her husband, Denora and Bobby Heath of Buchanan; one niece and her husband Kahyla and Ryan Healey of Tallapoosa and one great niece Maggie Healey.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Doctor Mason Bush officiating. Interment will follow in Tallapoosa East Baptist Church cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers; Ryan Healey, Mark Scott, Brent McCollom, Kirk Johnson and Jason (Axel) Affolter. Honorary pallbearer Joey Rainey.

Family will receive friends Friday, May 18, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
