Mr. Gary William Smith, age 67, of Carrollton passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017.  Mr. Smith was born in Newnan, Georgia, on June 24, 1950.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Mike Fitzpatrick Ford in Newnan.  Mr. Smith was the son of the late Paul Thomas Smith; mother, Thelma Louise Sewell Smith; one brother, Melvin Smith; and one grandchild, Austin Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Noles Smith of Carrollton; three sons and daughters-in-law, Dwayne and Stacey Smith of Newnan, Timmy and Christie Yeager of Franklin, and Charlie and Kimberly Smith of Senoia; two step-daughters and one step son-in-law, Sheila Fitzgerald of Carrollton, and Susan and John Yarbrough of Franklin; one step-son, Frankie Noles of Carrollton; one sister, Betty Jo Bowden of Grantville; one brother, Tommy Smith of Newnan; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild, Rhett; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. from Grace Baptist Church in Newnan with Rev. Mike Sprayberry officiating.

Cremation services are being provided by Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
