Dale McPherson, age 74 of Bremen, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026. Born on December 4, 1951, in Paulding County, Dale was the son of the late Araton Monroe McPherson and the late Mary Henrietta Littlefield McPherson. In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jaronia Dale Evans McPherson; his son, Brian D. McPherson; a brother, Danny A. McPherson; and a sister, Phillis P. Callahan.
Throughout his career, Dale was known not only for his expertise and leadership in construction but also as everyone’s favorite handyman, ready to lend a helping hand wherever needed. His quick wit and genuine sense of humor ensured he loved making others laugh. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dale had a profound love for fishing and held the title of grillmaster in his family. His passion for the beach was well-known; cherished family trips to the shore created countless treasured memories that will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Anita and Heather McPherson, who carry forward his legacy with pride; and his grandchildren who lovingly called him PawPaw —Kayla Prince, Jaronia Cooper, Brian McPherson, Lawson Cooper, Kirsten McPherson, Britnee Creel, and Robert McPherson. He also leaves behind his siblings, Mary Leggett, Joan Lovell, Nancy Bailey, and Susan Brown; his brother William H. McPherson and sister-in-law Elaine McPherson; as well as Rita McPherson, his sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
The family is planning a celebration of Dale's life at a later date.
Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is honored to serve the cremation needs of the McPherson family.
