Mr. Gary Randall Dobbs, age 67, of Buchanan (the Felton community) passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014.  Mr. Dobbs was born in Haralson County, Georgia on February 12, 1947.  He was the son of the late Early Henry Dobbs and Carmie Richards Dobbs.  Mr. Dobbs was a veteran of the United States Army and was the owner of Dobbs Construction.

Survivors include one daughter, Gina Bridgers of Buchanan; one son, Michael Dobbs of Buchanan; mother, Carmie Richards Dobbs of Buchanan; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Larry Dobbs and Ricky and Kathy Dobbs all of Buchanan; four grandchildren, C.J. Bridgers, Ben Bridgers, Michaela Sloman and Dylan Dobbs; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 19, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Donald Oswalt and Dr. Allen Wilburn officiating.  Interment will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Lee Dobbs, Joseph Dobbs, C.J. Bridgers, Ben Bridgers, Charlie Thurman and Lonny Williams. Military graveside honors will be provided by the Haralson County Veterans Association.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
