Gary Alan Alsip, age 65 of Carrollton, passed away at his residence on Friday, October 20, 2023, after a brief illness.  Born in Oak Ridge, TN, he was the son of the late Charles Ray Alsip and the late Nancy Lee Sadler Alsip.

Gary, a Carrollton High School graduate, worked for many years at Southwire.  He enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing.  Gary was a collector and spent hours searching for that perfect coin, record album or gun.  He enjoyed listening to music especially 70's classic rock.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons and daughter-in-law, Nathan Shane Alsip of Carrollton, and  Nicholas & Savanna Alsip of Mt. Zion; and his grandchildren, Austin Levi Alsip and one on the way, Gatlin Ridge Alsip. Also surviving are his brothers Gilbert Alsip of Orange City, FL, and Clay Alsip of Carrollton; and nephew Brock and nieces, Bryn Jessica and Jennifer.

In accordance with his wishes, Gary will be cremated.  The family is planning a memorial service at a later date.
