Mr. Freddy Joe Gentry, age 72, of Buchanan passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013. Mr. Gentry was born in Haralson County on February 27, 1940. He was the son of the late William Star Gentry and the late Mattie Lou Davis Gentry.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Kiser Gentry of Buchanan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Iris and Buddy Badgett of Buchanan and Leslie and William Harris of Franklin; one son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Jana Gentry of Buchanan;one brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Buddy and Joan Gentry of Buchanan; four grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Buddy Gentry officiating. Music will be rendered by Rev. Buddy Gentry.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 P.M.
