Mr. Fred Calvin Ezzell, age 79, of 1648 Coppermine Rd., Buchanan passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Mr. Ezzell was born in Marshall County, Alabama on December 12, 1929. He was the son of the late Johnnie Ezzell and the late Myrtle Inez Hutcheson Ezzell. Mr. Ezzell was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired truck driver. Besides his parents, two sisters, Carolyn Ezzell and Ruth Ezzell; and two brothers, Raymond Ezzell and Mack Ezzell. Survivors include his wife, Marie Daniel Ezzell of Buchanan; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Tony Robinson of Buchanan, Terri and David Elsberry of Temple and Beth and Casey Frisby of Buchanan; one son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Darlene Ezzell of Tallapoosa; one sister, Betty Gentry of Buchanan; one brother and sister-in-law, Dwight and Sue Ezzell of Bremen; two sisters-in-law, Betty Jean Ezzell of Buchanan and Shirley Ezzell of Dallas; four grandchildren, Stanley Robin Ezzell, Cody Robinson, C.J. Frisby and Suzanne Frisby; four great grandchildren, Macy Ezzell, Alexus Ezzell, Sydney Ezzell and Michael Elsberry; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gary Harris, Rev. Scott Cranford and Danny Hutcheson officiating. Interment will follow in the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Chase Croft, Ellis Jennings, Greg Poteet, Rick Denson, Kenneth Ezzell and Greg Redding. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
