Mr. Fred Winston Berkeley, II, age 54, of Carrollton passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017.  Mr. Berkeley was born in Richmond, Virginia, on September 12, 1962.  He was the son of the late Fred Winston Berkeley, Sr. and the late Elizabeth Harris Holly.

Mr. Berkeley graduated from Cedartown High School in 1980 where he played football. He then went to the University of South Carolina on a football scholarship.  Mr. Berkeley was retired from the United States Navy and was currently the Security Director for Point University.

Survivors include his wife, Nina Juntunen Berkeley of Carrollton; four daughters, Marie Pearson, Tambsie Berkeley and Tasia Berkeley all of Carrollton and Anita Bjort-Berkeley of Iceland; one son, Jonathan Pearson of Alaska; a cousin, Renyna Henderson of Laurel, MD; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. from Victory Tabernacle Ministries in Carrollton with Pastor Charles Thomas officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Fred Winston Berkeley, II Memorial Fund, c/o of Nina Berkeley at any BB&T Bank branch.
