Mr. Franz Gerald Babson, age 49, of 25 Gracewood Circle, Carrollton passed away Monday, January 11, 2010. Mr. Babson was born in Stuttgart, Germany on March 8, 1960. He was the son of the late Dow Jermone Babson and the late Anneliese Emmi Smyrek Babson. Mr. Babson was a veteran of the United States Army and was a construction worker. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy Babson, Albert Babson and Clausey Babson. Survivors include his wife, Vickie Floyd Babson of Carrollton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Delaine and Mark Etheridge of Villa Rica and Spring and Eric Tidwell of Carrollton; one son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Gurasmeia Babson of Villa Rica; one sister and brother-in-law, Lori and David Desaro of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Larry Babson of Scranton, PA; eight grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, January 23, 2010 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at the family residence located at 25 Gracewood Circle, Carrollton, Georgia.
