Mr. Franklin Eugene Williams, age 70, of Tallapoosa passed away Sunday, November 24, 2013.  Mr. Williams was born in California on February 16, 1943.  He was the son of the late J.B. Williams and the late Roberta Whaley Williams.  Mr. Williams a veteran of the United States Navy and was a  retired cook.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Roberta Beverly Kruger.

Survivors include one daughter, Tracie Lynn Williams of Florida; one sister, Sandra Mosley of Tallapoosa; uncle, Bobby Williams of Bremen; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Friday, November 29, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. from the Graveside at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery with Danny Hutcheson officiating.
