Ms. Frances Maydale Powers Queen McClain, age 59, of Tallapoosa passed away Monday, August 19, 2013. Ms. McClain was born in Riverdale on April 15, 1954. She was the daughter of the late Willie Powers and the late Kathleen Stevens Powers.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Denise Queen of Tallapoosa and Dennis and Tracy Queen of Cartersville; one brother, Raymond Powers of Tallapoosa; Taylor Queen, Johah Queen, Stephen Harris Dylan Harris, James D. Queen , Jr., Brianna Caldwell; and a number of other relatives.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.

Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
