Mrs. Frances Brownlow Hitchcock, age 80, of 600 West Memorial Drive, Dallas passed away Friday, June 27, 2008. Mrs. Hitchcock was born in Bartow County on August 16, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Willie Smith and the Lena Smith. Mrs. Hitchcock was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Bobby H. Hitchcock; one daughter, Sandra Hatfield; two sons, Donald Brownlow and Alvin Brownlow; one sister, Julie Mae Strickland; two brothers, Tom Smith and Hugh Smith; and three grandchildren. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Laverne and Curtis Woods of Macon; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Harold Lamar Brownlow of Dallas; Ralph and Kathy Brownlow of Dallas; one daughter-in-law, Linda Brownlow of Waco; nineteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 29, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Lay Pastor Curtis Woods officiating. Music will be rendered by Harold McWhorter. Interment will follow in the Beulahland Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Shane Tant, Joey Tant, Keith Brownlow, Billy Freeman, Jeff Streetman and James Brownlow. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
