Mrs. Frances Patricia Eskew Hefner, age 74, of Tallapoosa passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Mrs. Hefner was born in Cobb County on August 28, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Opal Eskew and the late Ruth Kelley Eskew. Mrs. Hefner was the retired office manager of Countryside Health Center in Buchanan. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Hefner; two children, Kellie Delayne Shetter and James Russell Smith; and one brother, Bobby Eskew.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Susan and Larry Reece of Muscadine, AL, Jill Parrish of Carrollton and Jaime and Randy Tison of Ormond Beach, FL; one son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Shelly Hefner of Tallapoosa; one sister, Deanie Chambers of Austell; one brother and sister-in-law, Farist and Vivian Eskew of Lithia Springs; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 28, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Wayne Morris officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Neal Holley, Kyle Reece, Chris Ashmore, Richard Smith, Chris Chambers and Scott Smith.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
