Mrs. Frances Jeanette Owen Holcombe Daniel, age 81, of Fruithurst, Alabama passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012. Mrs. Daniel was born in Cleburne County, Alabama on October 10, 1930. She was the daughter of the late William Oliver Owen and the late Callie Patty Owen. Mrs. Daniel was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Daniel; and two sons, Donald Holcombe and Jackie Holcombe.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Becky and Tim Robinson of Tallapoosa and Virginia Kay Price of Fruithurst; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Roland Ray and Jan Holcombe of Muscadine, Glenn and Joni Holcombe of Fruithurst, Rockie and Dorothy Daniel of Heflin and Darrell Daniel of Fruithurst; two sisters, Rennie Ginn of Heflin and Linnie Peters of Ringgold; eighteen grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 30, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. (GA Time) from Mount Olive Church of God in Fruithurst with Rev. Ronald Williams officiating. Music will be rendered by Grandchildren. Interment will follow in Uppper Cane Creek Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbeaers: Chad Holcombe, Kevin Holcombe, Shane Smith, Joey Holcombe, Trevor Daniel and Jeremy Price.

The remains will lie in state at the Church from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. (GA Time).

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. (GA Time).
