IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Flora Mae
(Quinn) Carr
March 24, 1945 – April 2, 2025
Flora Mae Quinn Carr, age 80 of Ranburne, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at her residence. Born on March 24, 1945, in Atlanta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Geneva Clayton Quinn. In addition to her parents, Flora is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carr, her daughters, Tammie Carr and Melissa Bellinger, her grandson, Robbie Carr, and her sister Tommie Bates.
Flora lived most of her life in Georgia, moving later to Alabama to be close to her nieces and nephew. A loving and giving person, she loved children and they loved her. Her favorite place to visit was Cades Cove in the Great Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. A bear sighting there brought her much enjoyment. Flora also enjoyed bargain hunting at boutiques. In the rural countryside of Alabama, she spent many hours watching the wildlife and especially loved her redbirds that she fed religiously. Flora will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
Left to cherish her memories are her nieces, Brenda & Dion Moore of Heflin and Renee & Rocky Pollard of Graham; her nephew, Willard Bates, Jr. of Ranburne; and other extended family members.

Floral contributions may be sent to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel in Buchanan and should be received by 9:30 AM Friday.
