Mr. Felton Eugene Slate, age 84, of Bremen passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016.  Mr. Slate was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 28, 1932.  He was the son of the late Felton Eugene Slate, Sr. and the late Maudie Mathis Slate.  Mr. Slate owned a hobby shop in Atlanta for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Britt Slate of Bremen; one daughter and son-in-law, Candy and Kevin McAdams of Bremen; one sister, Mildred Brown of Ellijay; and a number of other relatives.

No services are planned at this time.  In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, he was cremated.
