Mrs. Fay Hamrick Kimball, age 94, of Buchanan passed away Sunday, November 2, 2008. Mrs. Kimball was born in Cleburne County, Alabama on June 20, 1914. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Columbus Hamrick. Mrs. Kimball was retired from Sewell Clothing Company. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Kimball; two sons, Truman Kimball and Randy Kimball; two sisters, Clara Kimball and Cloie NeSmith; one brother, Horace Hamrick; and one grandchild, Elizabeth Kimball. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie and Junior Gable of Buchanan and Janice and Jimmy Bush of Buchanan; one son and two daughters-in-law, Waymon and Jean Kimball of Bremen and Beverly Kimball of Cedartown; six sisters and four brothers-in-law, Ava Carter of Cedartown, Geneva Stone of Birmingham, Christine and Coyce Smith of Birmingham, Dot and Jimmy Carson of Arab, AL, Ruth and Cleon Rogers of Arab, AL and Betty and Milton Smtih of Arab, AL; three brothers and sisters-in-law, A.W. and Omah Hamrick of Mobile, AL, Jim and Dot Hamrick of Birmingham and Buddy and Billie Hamrick of Birmingham; eleven grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Buchanan with Elder Steve Kimball, Elder Kim Hardin and Rev. George Bennett officiating. Music will be rendered by Lana Elefante, Tammy Miller and Bryant Hand. Interment will follow in the Buchanan City Cemetery with the following persons serving as pallbearers: Mike Kimball, Kenny Kimball, James H. Kimball, Clark Kimball, Sherry Kimball, Kathy Taylor and Joe Johnson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the granddaughters. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
