Mr. Everett Simpson, age 83, of Bremen passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013.  Mr. Simpson was born in Haralson County on June 14, 1930.  He was the son of the late Amos Simpson and the late Ovalene Williams Simpson.  Mr. Simpson was a retired construction worker.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred King Simpson; one daughter, Diane Malcom; three brothers, Floyd Simpson, Bill Simpson and Doyle Simpson; one grandchild, Randy Malcom.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Steve Ballenger of Carrollton and Patty and Danny Hutcheson of Buchanan; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Karon Simpson of Bremen; six grandchildren and spouses, Joseph and Keisha Simpson, Jaycen and Alicia Simpson, Christi and Mark Teal, John and Brooke Ballenger, Kathryn and Chase Croft, Shawn Highfield and Jimmy Malcom; seven great grandchildren, Madison Teal, Abigail Teal, Chandler Ballenger, Charlie Ballenger, Carsyn Simpson, Cameron Simpson and Lyla Simpson; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Minister Bill Gray officiating.  Music will be rendered by Kersha Cartwright accompanied by Beleta Anderson.  Interment will follow in Liberty Christian Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jaycen Simpson, Joseph Simpson, John Ballenger, Mark Teal, Chase Croft, Chandler Ballenger, Madison Teal and Carsyn Simpson.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
