Mrs. Evelyn Lavae Lyle Perry, age 85, of Buchanan passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017.  Mrs. Perry was born in Buchanan, Georgia, on August 2, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Willie Henry Lyle and the late I.V. Worthy Lyle.  Mrs. Perry worked for Cluett, Peabody (Arrow Shirt Company) for fifty years.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Leonard Perry; one son, Charles Lee Perry; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include one daughter, Lynn Hicks of Tallapoosa; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Sandra Perry of Bremen, and Jerry and Phyllis Perry of Fruithurst, AL; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Randall and Maxine Lyle of Buchanan, and Roger and Judy Lyle of Bremen; seven grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 30, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jerry Perry officiating.  Interment will follow in Edwards Cemetery with Rev. Frank Jenkins officiating at the graveside.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Brian Hicks, Joe Perry, Chris Hicks, Eric Thompson, Shannon Nix and Christopher George.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
