Ms. Evelyn Elizabeth Perry Davis Mashburn,83, of Buchanan passed away Friday, April 29, 2011. Ms. Mashburn was born in Haralson County on April 8, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Lee Perry and the late Willie Mae Morris Perry. Ms. Mashburn was a retired seamstress with Arrow Shirt Company and was a hairstylist. She had also worked with Dorsey Manufacturing and Hubbard Sales. Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Joyce Edwards of Carrollton; one son and daughter-in-law, Ricky Lee and Carol Davis of Buchanan; one sister, Katheryn Barger; two sisters-in-law, Sandra Perry and Alene Perry; five grandchildren, Gary Davis, Staci Davis, Cynthia Davis, Kym Edwards and Brandon Edwards; four great grandchildren, Ashlee Davis, Stefano Canducci, Callista Davis and Jackson Davis; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, May 1, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Dr. Terrell McBrayer officiating. Music will be rendered by Sherry Tarpley. Interment will follow in the Buchanan Church of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
