Ernestina "Tina" Escobedo Norris. March 15, 1940-January 3, 2013. Preceded in death by her parents Elfida and Guadalupe Escobedo: Husband, Charles E. Bowman Sr. and Ray Norris: Brother, Lupito Escobedo: Daughter, Cynthia Owens: Grandson, Christopher Bowman.

She is survived by her sons: Charles E. Bowman Jr., Walter Allen Bowman (Karen), O. Curtis Bowman (Shelia), D. Scott Bowman, and Robert L. Bowman (Sherry): Grandchildren, Eric (Renee), Tina, Clayton, Lisa (David), Anna (Eric), Alex, Khristina, Maria, Billy, Jacob, Jessica, Heather, Robert and Sara: Great-grandchildren, Chloe, Kalee, Parker, Kate, Caden, Asher, Jayce, Ari, Gunner, Brady, and other family members.

Tina graduated from Volunteer State Community College. She was the president of the ACF Mountain Empire Culinary Association and a hospice volunteer in Kingsport, TN. She enjoyed spending time with her friends of the ACF Mountain Empire Culinary Association, her church and her dog, Teddy.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 13, 2013, at 2:00pm at Kingsport First Assembly of God, 2213 Brandon Lane, Kingsport TN. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that donations be sent to the Juvenile Diabetes Association; www.jdrv.org.
