Mr. Ernest George Wright, age 83, of Buchanan, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019. He was born on February 23, 1936 in Buchanan to the late Ernest Eugene Wright and the late Lulu Floyd Wright. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one son Richard Brian Wright.

Survivors include his wife Earlene Frances Folsom Wright of Buchanan; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen Leah (Ricky) Bell of Bremen; two sons and daughter-in-law, Randy Wade (Sharon Kay) Wright of Buchanan and Aaron Eugene Wright of Buchanan; one sister, Evelyn Worthy of Buchanan; one brother, JW Wright of Rockmart; three grandchildren, Brandon Wade Wright, Patrick Brian Wright, Celea Gipson; three great grandchildren, Braylan Lee Gipson, Easton Lee Gipson, Murray Grant Wright and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Tallapoosa East Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Dr. Rev. Mason Bush officiating. Mr. Wright will lie in state from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Tallapoosa East Baptist Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 21, 2019 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
