Mrs. Erica Edeltraut Goerges Boggs, age 86, of Lithia Springs passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011. Erica was born in Konigsberg, East Prusia. She and her three sisters Nushy, Gie and Inka lived through WW II in Germany. She immigrated to the United States with her husband Eddie, a U.S. Army soldier in 1954. She retired from the Army and Air Force Exchange Service. She loved listening to opera and working in her yard. Mrs. Boggs was preceded in death by her husband, Norman "Eddie" Boggs in 1978 and one brother Wolfram. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Mike Lipe; three granddaughters and their husbands, Kathy and Bill Kemp, Kristy and Dwayne Coker and Kelly and Saulo Franca, seven great grandchildren, Will, Morgan, Jacob, Kennedy, Tiago, Jackson an Ashley. The Celebration of Life Ceremony will be conducted Friday, April 29, 2011 beginning at 11:00 at the family residence located at 3046 Beechwood Drive, Lithia Springs, Georgia. The Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Mozley Memorial Gardens.
