Elvin Donaldo Talavera Zapata, age 54 of Carrollton, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021. He was born on December 13, 1966 in Honduras to the late Maria Erlinda Zapata. Besides his mother he is preceded in death by one brother, Jeronimo Arias Zapata and one sister, Reina Zapata.

Survivors include one daughter, Tammy Talavera; two sons and daughters-in-law, Elvin A. Talavera and Nayeli and Eder Donaldo Talavera and Elma Dayana Fernandez; three brothers, Osman Turcios Zapata, Alan Turcios Zapata and Hector Arias Zapata; three sisters, Nery Zapata, Keila Zapata and Alicia Zapata; five grandchildren, Priscila J. Talavera, Abigail A. Talavera, Sophia Talavera, Andrea Talavera, Kayden Talavera and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Elvin will be conducted on Saturday, August 7, 2021 from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ismael Uribe officiating. Following the service Elvin will be cremated.

The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 12 Noon until the service hour.

The family requests that face mask be worn when attending the service.
