Mrs. Ella Irene Morris Norton, age 92, of Temple passed away Friday, June 24, 2011. Mrs. Norton was born in Paulding County on February 14, 1919. She was as retired seamstress. Mrs. Norton was preceded in death by her husband, Davis Norton. Survivors include two nieces, Brenda Gilreath and Linda Wiggins; two nephews, Joe Norton and Michael Norton; and a number of great nieces, great nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 26, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Raymond Cash and Rev. Johnny Holcombe officiating. Interment will follow in the District Line United Methodist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Joe Norton, Shay Norton, Tyler Cheatwood, Michael Smith, Brian Moss and Brett Moss. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
