Ms. Elizabeth Kiser Garner passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021, at a local hospital. She was born March 7, 1940, in Tallapoosa to the late Theodore Roosevelt Kiser and the late Georgia Ola Kiser. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by two brothers, Horace Kiser and Forrest Kiser and one sister, Betty Jane Kiser.

Ms. Garner graduated from Buchanan High School and was retired from Walmart in Hiram, GA. She loved to travel and plant flowers and tomatoes. She was also active with the Haralson County Seniors and Bremen Senior Center prior to the coronavirus pandemic.

Ms. Garner is survived by three daughters and son-in-law and a son and daughter-in-law, Rita Robinson of Tallapoosa, Lori Morgan of Dallas, GA, Wendy Price and Jeff Whitfield of Rome, GA and Michael and Randa Garner of Temple, GA; six grandchildren, Dan (Amanda) Robinson, Dustin Morgan, Miranda (Jake) Stutesman, Katie (Chris) Cantrell, Dar (Ali) Robinson and Mallory Garner; three great grandchildren, Blayne, Paylee and Ace; one brother, T.R. Kiser of Waco, GA; numerous nieces and nephews and special neighbors, Tim ( Bubba) and April Freeman and Macy.

In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2021, from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel at 3:00 PM with Pastor Corey Starks officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in her memory to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Division or Tanner Hospice Care, 119 Ambulance Dr. #200, Carrollton, GA 30117.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, we ask that all attending the service and/or visitation wear a mask and maintain proper social distance from those not in your family.  We continue to ask that those at risk or those not feeling well stay home and reach out to the family through our obituary page.  All ceremonies are limited to a maximum of 50 guests per state guidelines.
