IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elizabeth Estell
Duke
October 24, 1934 – October 2, 2025
Elizabeth Estell Bradley Duke of Cedartown passed away suddenly just weeks before her 91st birthday. Born in Haralson County, she was the daughter of James Hoyt Bradley and Frances Bradley. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, JD Duke and all her brothers and sisters.
Elizabeth grew up working on the farm and then worked for many years and retired from Gold Kist Poultry, Inc. At home, she enjoyed being outdoors and spent many hours working and caring for her flowers. Elizabeth grew beautiful flowers and definitely had a green thumb. Her inside hobbies included crocheting - she could crochet anything - and was talented at drawing, and painting. Elizabeth also loved animals, especially her dogs. Her sweet spirit will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Left to cherish her memories are her son and daughter-in-law, Dwain and Donna Goodman of Cedartown; her two grandchildren and spouses, Chrissy and Trey Glisson of Rockmart and Bradley and Cristina Goodman of Salena, California; and her two great-grandchildren Haley Goodman and her husband Ben Worthy and Patricia Noel Goodman.
In keeping with the family's wishes, Elizabeth will be cremated. The family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is honored to serve the cremation needs of the Duke family.
