Elizabeth Ann Brown Wolfe, age 70 of Carrollton, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.  Born on August 13, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Willard Brown and the late Mildred Rexford.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Cathy Todd, and her brother, Eddie Brown.

After graduating high school, Elizabeth attended Auburn University.  She later found her niche in food services where she loved meeting new people.  Elizabeth enjoyed reading and playing the lottery.  Her passion, though, was spending time with her family.  To the grandchildren she was "Honey" and they loved one another dearly.  Her beautiful smile and zest for life will be truly missed.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 35 years, Mark Wolfe of Carrollton; her daughter and son-in-law, Sara & Thomas Payne of Carrollton; and her son and daughter-in-law, Charles & Allison Hamby of Muscadine. Also surviving are her precious grandchildren: Kaitlynn Payne, Xander Payne, Hattie Hamby and Austin Baxley; her nephew, Patrick Todd; her niece, Cristy Jones; and her many friends.

A Celebration of Life for Elizabeth Wolfe will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024, at 5:00 PM at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Randall Eidson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 until the service hour.
