Mr. Elbert Andrew Whorton, age 70, of Centre, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017.  Mr. Whorton was born in Centre, Alabama, on January 6, 1947.  He was the son of the late John Carl Whorton and the late Una Faye Lewis Whorton.

Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Whorton; one sister, Lounelle Holcombe; one brother, John Whorton; and a number of other relatives.

No services are planned at this time. In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, he was cremated.
