Ms. Edwina Kilgore Roden, age 90, of 3581 Hwy. 120, Tallapoosa passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010. Ms. Roden was born in Wadley, Alabama on January 29, 1920. She was the daughter of the late Luther Hollis Kilgore and the late Lillie Mae Dunaway Kilgore. Survivors include one daughter, Linda Edwards of Tallapoosa; Grandchildren, Daniel Edwards of Boldo, AL, Melynda Brasington of Buchanan and Joel Edwards of Winterhaven, FL; Great Grandchildren, Emily and Samantha Brasington, Mekayla and Mia Edwards and Elizabeth and Allison Edwards; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. from the Graveside at Pineywoods Baptist Church Cemetery with Minister Ralph Davis officiating. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
