Mr. Edward "Scott" Gilliam, age 57, of Buchanan, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020.  He was born on January 12, 1963 to the late Buddy Edward Gilliam and the late Frances Camp Gilliam.  Besides his parents, Scott is preceded in death by his brother, Kippy Edward Gilliam.

Mr. Gilliam honorably served his country in the United States Army.  In years passed, he enjoyed fishing and searching for arrowheads and other Native American artifacts.  Scott also loved watching Let's Make a Deal.  He is loved and will be missed by many.

Survivors include his three children: daughter, Kinsey Gilliam & her husband, Eric Sumner; daughter, Kassidy Gilliam; and son, Kippy Scott Gilliam.  He is also survived by four sisters: Wendy Bradshaw, Marla Coffey, Mona Smith, and Dena Copeland; and several nieces, nephews, and other loved family and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 4 P.M. at Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Bro. Danny Mason officiating.

The family will hold a visitation for friends and relatives one hour before service from 3 P.M. to 4 P.M.

In keeping with Mr. Gilliam's wishes, he will be cremated.
