Edward Eugene Browning, age 64 of Buchanan, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022.  He was born in Douglasville, GA, on December 20, 1957, to the late Earnest Eugene Browning and the late Shirley Carroll Browning Moody.  In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by Truman Ray Moody. Eddie was a self-employed heavy equipment operator and enjoyed working in the dirt by grading and leveling land.  Being an avid outdoorsman, he loved riding horses, being on the water, and riding motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Jones Browning, Buchanan; his daughters, Jennifer (Wesley Conway) Ward. Temple, and Amanda (Donald) Bagley, Buchanan; his step-daughter, Keisha (Lance) Wilson, Rockmart; his step-sons, Jeremy Ward, Rockmart, and Mitchell Ward, Buchanan.  Also surviving is his sister, Sheila Miller, Douglasville, and his grandchildren: Laney Ward, Layla Ward, Megan Bagley, Morgan Bagley, Madelyn Bagley, Kaitlyn White, Kelsey White, Wiley Ward, and Maybri Ward.

Funeral services for Eddie Browning will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 23, 2022, from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Don Butler and Rache Bell speaking.  The family will receive friends on Saturday at the chapel from Noon until the funeral hour.  Interment will follow in Union Hill Congregational Methodist Church in Bremen.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jeremy Ward, Mitchell Ward, Donald Bagley, Scott Moody, Bert Stapleton, Adam Williams, and Cory Coggins.
