Edward Lee Armstrong, age 48, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023. He was born on January 31, 1975, to the late Edward Lewis Caldwell and Henrietta Armstrong Potts. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by two sisters, Jackie Potts and Terrell Boyd; one brother, Jarome Potts and grandparents, WC and Jerylean McFarling and Mr. Doris Armstrong.

Survivors include his mother, Henrietta Armstrong Potts; daughter, Torri Armstrong of Villa Rica; sons, Andrew Gaddy of Villa Rica and Tyre Armstrong of Villa Rica; mother of the children, Tuesday Gaddy Armstrong; seven sisters and brothers-in-law, Elisha Woods and Kenan of Atlanta, Nicole Boyd of Decatur, Angela Caldwell of Villa Rica, Tracey Caldwell of Douglasville, Debra Holland and Alfonzo of Carrollton, Sherry Caldwell of Lithia Springs and Sharron Wilkerson and Carlos of Villa Rica; five brothers, Brandon Boyd of Decatur, Torry Caldwell of Douglasville, Jamaine Caldwell of Douglasville, Jeremy Caldwell of Douglasville and Grady Russell of Alabama; one grandchild on the way and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 3:00 PM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Carrollton City Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Montez Cammon, Lamar Chism, Anthony Chism, Torry Caldwell, George Harris and Scott Armstrong.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions for Edward Armstrong be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
