Mrs. Edna Earl Littlefield Brooks, age 77, of Tallapoosa passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011. Mrs. Brooks was born in Haralson County on December 3, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Robert L. Littlefield and the late Willie Folsom Littlefield. Mrs. Brooks was a homemaker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Willard Jeff Brooks.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Benjie Miller of Tallapoosa and Brenda and Jason Chandler of Tallapoosa; one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Brenda Brooks of Tallapoosa; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. from Westview Baptist Church with Rev. Alton Stamey and Rev. Charles Monroe officiating. Music will be rendered by the Church Choir. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery in Tallapoosa with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Benjie Miller, Jason Chandler, Landon Williams, Donald Rowell, Barry Hutcheson and Brian Barkley.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
