Mrs. Edith Inez Williams Moody, age 86, of Tallapoosa passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012. Mrs. Moody was born in Ellaville, Georgia on April 10, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Lamar Williams and the late Edith Autry Williams. Mrs. Moody was retired from Formost Insurance Company. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Wood Moody.

Survivors include two daughters, Vonya Turry of Alpharetta and Elisha Premru of Palm Harbor, FL; three sons, Robert Moody of Tallapoosa, Arthur Moody of Jacksonville, FL and Alfred Moody of Woodstock; one sister, Gertrude Mason of Tarpon Springs, FL; two brothers, Gene Williams of St. Petersburg, FL and Kenneth Williams of Pensacola, FL; eight grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
