Mr. Durward William Davis, age 84, of Buchanan passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Mr. Davis was born in Buchanan, Georgia, on September 5, 1932.  He was the son of the late John Davis and the late Ethel Adams Davis.  Mr. Davis was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired auto body repairman.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Cathy Davis and Joe Davis all of Buchanan; three grandchildren, Jeremy Davis, Jonathan Davis and John Davis; one great grandchild, Hunter Kirby; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. J.W. Daniel and Rev. Wayne Morris officiating.  Interment will follow in Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jeremy Davis, Jonathan Davis, John Davis, Perry Littlefield, Randy Pate and Larry Thomas.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday afternoon from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M.
