Mr. Doyle Thomas Barkley, age 54, of 134 Old Hamilton Mill Rd., Bremen passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2007. Mr. Barkley was born in Fulton County on November 20, 1954. He was the son of the late Lewis Barkley and Gladys Maner Barkley of Bremen. Mr. Barkley was a veteran of the United States Army and was a cabinet installer. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Sweatman. Survivors besides his mother include his wife, Charlotte Madden Barkley of Buchanan; two daughters, Hannah Barkley of Buchanan and Jessica Barkley of Buchanan; one son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Faith Barkley of Carrollton; two sisters, Brenda Barkley of LaGrange and Loretta Dobbs of Carrollton; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Rex and Sandy Barkley of Waco and Mark Barkley of Bremen; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Brother Ricky Shirley officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Daniel Dobbs, Jody Barkley, Andy Pollard, Larry Barkley, Dwayne Madden and Gene Madden. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
