Mr. Douglas McArthur Davis, age 71, of Villa Rica passed away Monday, October 28, 2013.  Mr. Davis was born in Gadsden, Alabama on February 3, 1942.  He was the son of the late James Ernest Davis and the late Floye Mae Gibbs Davis.  Mr. Davis was a carpenter.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen Davis of Villa Rica, three daughters, Stefanie Rix of Rockmart, Pam Mobley of Mableton and Beverly Harp of Canton; four sons, Alexander Ernest Davis of Temple, Douglas Crale Davis of Temple, Danny Wayne Davis of Aragon and Troy Kelly Davis of Ellijay; two sisters, Betty Davis Gadsden, AL and Edna Earl Peirson of Liberty, TX; three brothers, Harold Davis of Hokes Bluff, AL, Ted Davis of Aragon and Joe Davis of Alabama; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
