Mrs. Dorothy Annette Norton Wyatt, age 59, of Hueytown, Alabama formerly of Buchanan passed away Friday, February 5, 2016.  Mrs. Wyatt was born in Villa Rica, Georgia on January 31, 1957.  She was the daughter of the late Charlie V. Norton and the late Bessie Irene Causey Norton.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Cash and Diane Grimsley; and two brothers, Danny Ray Norton and Bobby Norton.

Survivors include her husband, Randy Wyatt of Hueytown, AL; one daughter, Cindy Kelsey of Hueytown, AL; one son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Kari Fortner of Columbus; one sister and brother-in-law, Violet and Donald Fortner of Buchanan; two brothers, Max Norton of Buchanan and Roger Norton of Columbus; three grandchildren, Tiffany Carnes, Jacob Carnes and Kolton Fortner; two great grandchildren, Raylin Ellis and Ryleigh Bell; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. from Welcome Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Van Brown and Rev. Alvin Hunnicutt officiating.  Music will be rendered by Judy Hunnicutt,  Interment will follow in Welcome Baptist Church Cemetery, Bremen, Georgia with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Donnie Fortner, Blake Bone, Nic Ellis, Stan Carnes, Ben Carnes, Danny Norton and Dewayne Norton.

The remains will be carried to the residence of Donald and Violet Fortner, 543 Buchanan By-Pass, Buchanan, GA  30113 where she will lie in state from Sunday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. until Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 P.M.
