Mrs. Dorothy Ree Cook Burnett, age 93 of Bremen, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019. She was born on February 21, 1926 in Carroll County to the late Frank Cook and the late Mary Knott Cook. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her Husband John Melvin Burnett; daughter, Sible Schrock; sister, Hazel Cook Smith and brother, Otis Cook.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Edward Clenton (JoAnn) Burnett of Bremen; three granddaughters, Julie Schrock Kensworthy, Sharon Schrock Wang, April Burnett and seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Graveside services will follow at Ephesus Christian Church in Whitesburg at 2:00 PM.
